About OSC College of Fashion
OSC College of Fashion is a leading fashion education, manufacturing, and consulting institution in Nigeria dedicated to building Africa’s next generation of skilled garment professionals while advancing sustainable and circular fashion practices.
Founded by Mrs. Olusola Babatunde, OSC was created with a clear vision to transform Africa’s fashion industry from informal production into a structured, scalable, and globally competitive manufacturing ecosystem. The institution operates at the intersection of education, industry, and innovation, training young people, women, and entrepreneurs in professional garment production, fashion design, pattern drafting, and fashion business management.
At the heart of OSC’s work is a strong commitment to sustainability and circular economy principles. The college promotes responsible sourcing, fabric efficiency, waste reduction, upcycling, and production optimisation across its training and manufacturing operations. Students are trained to design and manufacture garments using efficient cutting techniques, smart pattern systems, and resource conscious production methods that minimise waste and extend product life cycles.
OSC College of Fashion also operates a growing garment production facility that supports local and international brands with high quality manufacturing while creating employment opportunities for Nigerian youth. The factory integrates modern production systems, quality control processes, and ethical labour practices, positioning OSC as a model for sustainable industrial fashion development in Africa.
To strengthen market access and support inclusive growth, OSC developed Stitch House, a fashion e commerce platform that connects vendors across the fashion value chain to a growing digital marketplace. Stitch House enables tailors, designers, fabric sellers, accessories brands, and fashion entrepreneurs to sell their products and services online, expanding their reach beyond physical locations. The platform promotes made to order production, local sourcing, resale, and upcycled fashion, helping to reduce overproduction while increasing income opportunities for small businesses.
Through education, manufacturing, digital commerce, and circular fashion leadership, OSC College of Fashion is building a future where African fashion is ethical, profitable, globally respected, and environmentally responsible.
OSC College of Fashion operates a circular fashion training and production ecosystem that combines skills development, waste reduction, and digital market access. Through its garment production facility and training programmes, OSC has trained over 5,000 youth and women in professional garment manufacturing using zero waste pattern techniques, fabric efficiency systems, and upcycling methods.
The institution diverts significant textile waste from landfills by converting factory offcuts into new fashion products, accessories, and training materials. In addition, OSC’s Stitch House e commerce platform enables made to order production and resale by connecting local fashion vendors directly to consumers, reducing overproduction and unsold inventory.
Through government and donor funded fashion programmes, OSC has supported hundreds of small fashion businesses to transition from informal production to sustainable commercial operations, creating jobs, increasing incomes, and strengthening Nigeria’s circular fashion economy.
